Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Here We Go Again

Had another snow storm coming thru Thursday,Max said he was getting tired of dragging his belly thru the deep snow every time he had to go outside because of his short legs.So he decided to just curl up and sleep thru it and dream of spring.

006

If I just cover my eyes maybe it will just go away..

009

After having just gotten rid of all the snow from the “BLIZZARD OF 2011” and the ground was bare and drying up,we woke Friday to this another 6 to 8 inch of this stuff. Here we go again!!

014

If that wasn't a nuff of a slap in the face gas went from $3.04 to this while we were a sleep. What's up with that? Why do they sneak around in the middle of the night to raise the price? And no I don’t buy gas from bp.

010

Saturday was a gloomy and gray day,so it to was a uneventful day of watching TV and computer reading. It’s off to work Sunday.

As always thank all of the new and long time readers of our blog,we have learned a lot by reading other blogs and about there travels. We hope that some day soon to meet in person.

ONE DAY CLOSER TO OUR DREAM

And can you beleive it? We woke to a covering on snow here in southern AZ. Still coming down. But NOTHING like you have suffered through up there.

We paid $3.40 for diesel earlier in the week in Tombstone, cheapest around. Actually saw it for $4.29 over in Sierra Vista. That was BEFORE all recent hikes. Scared what it will be today.

Poor Max...but what cute photos. I'm with him, I'm ready for some warmer temperatures. We paid $3.84 for regular yesterday, and that was just shortly after passing the offshore oil rigs off the CA. coast! I guess there's some logic there somewhere but I haven't found it yet.

Be thankful your price of gas is only $3.22. The average Canadian now pays $4.50 a gallon! Of course here in Mexico it is about $2.85, so we will enjoy it while we can!

Hi, I just started following your blog yesterday. Love the pictures of Max! Too darn cute! I'm from the Chicagoland area and we got about 22in of snow when it hit that first time. We only got about an inch and a half yesterday and the day before. We can see the ground again so that's cool. Although I do love the snow, this was a bit much this year. I'm ready for spring! Can't wait to get in the RV again! Take care! Ronda

The diesel at Murphy Mart jumped to $3.59 here in Texas. Might know it would raise like this just as we are getting ready to travel again. Sorry about the snow. Cute dog. Stay warm.

Fuel prices?? We use diesel, which is like burning dollar bills...$3.74 a gallon...If we were pulling the Hiker, it would cost us about $100 to fill up our GMC's 26 gallon tank. YOWZA!..FYI, I don't care...I still would rather be driving the Hiker around..Those OPEC guys aren't gonna intimidate ME!!!OH YEAH.

Maybe ya ought to git a mobile, mobile home like Ol' 5th Wheel, which do to it's brakin' down all the time, save a hole bunch of fuel costs.

Glad you have the snow there and here in the 70's\.
Take care and be safe.

Max is a very smart dog! And cute too boot!

The oil companies always have ready made excuses for raising prices the minute there happens to be trouble somewhere in the world. Unlike what a lot of folks might think, 'Big Oil' is not our friend!
