We have been camping on BLM land that means no electricity no water hookup no sewer hookup. Just our generator and the blue boy. It was not bad at all, we had a sewer dump and fresh water about a 1/2 mile down the road. A lot of the desert rats that have done this type of camping for a lot of years have solar and toys to go with it.
Some pictures of Mexico
The best one is being back on the US side of the border.
We are now at the "Q" camping on BLM land about 2 miles from town. It kinda looks like Mexico with all flee market tents everywhere.
We have been out checking out the town to find the food stores and propane and liquor store ect. We plan to be here till April. Then we will start heading north we have to be in South Dakota May 1 for our summer gig till September and then to Kansas City for the month of October and then south again. I will post some pictures of our site soon.
All most for got the pictures of our desert happy hour.
The weather has been great in the afternoon.

You're definitely claiming your spot before the crowds show up next month. That's a good thing. Leaving in April should get you out of the desert before the heat hits. However, May 1 is kind of early for being up north. Hopefully the weather will work for you.
enjoy your stay at Quartzite!!!
Angela...I hate you...Now I need to step up my cocktail hour outfits...and by the way, YOU LOOK MAUVELOUS, DAHLING!!
Sure does look like you are enjoying some nice weather.
Love, love, love Q! So much to see and do. Have fun.
Have a great time in "Q":) We have been there a few times but never during the gatherings.
We'll be heading over to Q in January.
With weather like this no wonder you're enjoying it right now - it's perfect.
You were really into the full-boondocking mode there for a while. Good for you.
Have a good time in Q
Off the grid for the next 4 months? Don't think I could do it. 4 days is about my limit.
