Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

OLD FRIEND

This morning we were up early and headed to Warsaw Missouri and Lake Of The Ozark 150 miles from Kansas City.

For the last thirteen years I had this old friend at the lake that has served me well.

We spent a lot of weekends swimming ,boating and fishing at the lake.

Last year news came out that the water was so polluted they had to close down the public beaches and had been that way for years. So instead of renewing our lot lease and playing in polluted water we thought it was time to get out.

This is my old friend a 1977 Holiday Rambler002

It was park in a  permeant RV park since 1996 and didn’t know if it would move out and down the road.003

I gave it to a good friend of mine.He lives about 60 miles from there.

Annie the lab is going to miss this place..

004

They got the old girl ready and pulled her out of the spot she had been in for about 14 years.007

It was a bitter sweet day seeing an old friend go and  getting one step closer to our dream of full time RVing.

Back in KC waiting for our next snow storm to come thru o boy I just love this place..yea right

ONE DAY CLOSER TO THE DREAM
