Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

LAST WEEK

Monday was the first day of the church’s VBS (vacation bible school) it lasted till Friday. They had about 300 kids attend this year. They have all kinds of crafts and games for them to do.

Thursday I had to take off to take Angela to the dentist she had a real bad tooth so since  she has no dental insurance she wanted to try the dental college here at the University Of Missouri Dental School.

They were great and caring and take good care of the patients. She came home one tooth less..

Looks like a great time with the "Grands". They are cute kids!

WOW, 300 at your VBS. At our church in Tumwater we feel lucky to get about 40. We don't have a large church anyway, but we always hope for a bigger turnout.

Happy Father's Day to you!
