Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

BLINK OF AN EYE

I blinked and another week went by, seems like my life is in fast forward and I can’t slow it down.I keep passing myself coming and going. I’ll have five days off this coming week maybe I can slow down and catch up with my self. We did have time this week for a birthday party.

001

It was Annie’s 3 birthday her and Max put on party hats

003

Lady said no to the whole party  thing and no stupid party hat for her. (Old grump) She will even run if we try to take a picture of her. She says she is over weight and out of shape.

We did go ahead and open presents here is Annie modeling her new football with a rope.

009

Max’s gave his girl friend what every girl would want for her birthday a good ear cleaning. And no there was no alcohol at this party for the dogs . (only)!!

Then it was on to the ice cream and boy did they enjoy the stuff. And no that keg of wine is not one of her gifts

014

Check out the flavor of the ice cream peanut butter and cheese… oboy!!!

015

It was Annie birthday Nov 17 we picked her up on Dec 17 when she was 4 weeks old. Anyway we are not sure when Lady’s and Max birthday is so we celebrate there’s on the same day.

And no dogs were hurt in the making of this birthday party…..

We hope everyone has a great  week and Happy Thanksgiving .

Happy dogs! Love the idea of doggies ice creme. I know my dear old lab, Pcabo got a tummy upset if she managed to get any real ice cream! I'd let her have a frozen yogurt cone from time to time with no problems.

Our own dear Sparky who still lives in NJ (daughter who bought our house got custody) is over 15! That is very unusual for a Lab. Here is wishing your sweeties celebrate many more birthdays too!

Happy Birthday Annie!! How in the world did you get those hats on the dogs! I've tried with no success at all. Great pics - thanks for posting them.

It is hard when you are on the road to be able to read everyone’s blogs. Just letting you know we are following along, I find now if I copy and paste them, I can read them later.

Whiskey says to say a happy belated bithday to Annie. She thinks that the ice cream sounds great.
