Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

How do you know when it is time to "hang up the car keys”?
I say when your dog has this look on his face! A picture is worth a thousand words!
We thought we were in for a similar trip to the Christchurch Airport today. We were warned so many times about the driver. Instead she drove like the most careful person on the road. Score!
We are hanging out at Auckland Airport waiting for our flight to Honolulu. Still got 5 hours to go. We didn't plan that too well.
Tomorrow walking in Honolulu. Friday driving on Big Island. I hope I don't end up looking like dog.

I have been in the dog's seat before and I am sure my face looked exactly the same. Last time I ever road with that person. Yikes!
