Friday we trip to Deadwood,SD nice town with a lot of history and a lot of people. This weekend is Wild Bill Hickock days and the little town was full. We didn’t hang around long. We will come back at a later time.
We then headed over to Sturgis,SD. I think everybody in town was over in Deadwood. It looked like the town was quite except for when bike week hits. The saloons are very large so you can tell they have a lot of people.

The Full Throttle Saloon advertise that are the worlds largest biker bar.
It was quite impressive and very large.
A cold beer and some T- shirts and we were done for the day..
Saturday was Mount Rushmore day. We have never been there before and was very impressed the drive to it on the Iron mountain rd. was so neat we love it.
We found this little guy on the way down the mountain.
Our time is coming to an end here in the Black Hills today is clean up the 5th wheel and laundry day. We head out Monday.

great photos of Sturgis and Mount Rushmoure! glad that the two of you are enjoying your adventures!!
We were close to Mount Rushmore in April on our way up to Sturgeon Lake, Saskatchewa but it was too much of a detour to make the side trip there. Thanks for you pictures of it, now I want to go all that much more.
Sturgis looks like a very interesting place, I love how they have incorporated the old buses and 18 wheelers into signs and such.

I wouldn't have stayed in Deadwood either. I just cannot handle all the people. But I'm glad you got to at least see it and especially Mt. Rushmore. Pretty incredible.
Great places but always crowded.
Since I don't care for motorcycles, I've only driven past Sturgis.
Ditto in staying in Deadwood. It's changed. Don't like it anymore. Once did. Enough said!
we had a RV park owner from Sturgis call us with a work camping opportunity. . .no thanks!
Loved Mt Rushmore. . .would go again!
I especially want to return to the town of Rapid City to see all the different bronzes of the Presidents located on the street corners. . .I only got to see a couple when we were there. . .
