Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Leaving The "Q" Looking For The Sun

We are getting ready to leave Quartzsite, AZ and head to Yuma, in search of some sun shine for a change.

It has been cloudy raining and cool for the past week. We are in need for some warm sun shine.

This is what we woke up to this morning.

We did have a good week meeting up with friends and eating good food.

Breakfast with this very fine couple  Jim and Bobbie Chapman  http://chappytrails.blogspot.com/

Lunch at Silly Al's pizza with Kevin and Ruth http://www.travelwithkevinandruth.com/  and Rob and Cindy Stibb.

Time has come to move down the road to Yuma and more adventure...

Hope you can find the sun down in Yuma, we saw it a bit but it was mostly cloudy, although it was noticeably warmer there.

It was great meeting up with you both and hopefully our paths will cross again before we start heading north.

Ahh, it was so good to see you both once again. And breakfast was pretty good too. See you when you pass through Phoenix area.

Good luck finding that sun! And if you do find it, send it on up here to Phoenix as we are running along on empty here too.....

Sure hope you find that sunshine cause we don't have any up here in AJ yet. Makes for good hibernating weather.

Good luck finding that elusive sunshine.

We've had sun. Now getting much needed rain, but not enough. Enjoy Yuma.
