Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Hey there! Thanks for following our blog. It's always nice to know someone out there is reading it. :) Although, I think I'd write it no matter what because it's a great journal for us.

We really enjoyed our planning years before we actually went on the road. It's fun to talk about what to expect and what you want out of the life. Enjoy this time.

We've got family in KC, MO and our son is stationed at Fort Riley. His wife is there while he is deployed.

If you've got any questions, feel free to ask.
