Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

SATURDAY DAY TRIP

Angela,Annie and I were up and gone early.

We had a golf cart that we used at are Lake of the Ozark place tell it was sold this year.001

I got this cart several years ago and put a lift kit and bigger tires and wheels and a few other things on it and use it to get around the lake property.002

We did not need it anymore,I sold it to Angela’s mom and dad, they own a small farm south of Kansas City about 2 hours.

003

Annie at our McDonald stop for breakfast004

We got to her mom and dads and Annie got to play with her cousins.

005 006

007

They ran and played in the creek tell they were wore out.

We had a good lunch of stake and potatoes. We had a nice visit and it was time to head home,Annie was ready she was tired of all the running and swimming.

On the way back we stopped at Appleton City,Mo.009

This is a small town witch reminds me of Mayberry.008

Saturday afternoon and this town is closed up except for a action going on at the city park.

I love little towns they are so laid back and peaceful.010 011

The old hospital is now apartments.

   013

Can’t get many books in this library.

012

Just outside of Butler,MO we passed a rural cemetery and saw a sign.

014

I had to stop and see this.015

016

And there it was hooked to a board so that no one could get away with it.

When I turned it over there was money laying there, not sure why.

Had a good day trip.
