The weather has been so nice this past week Friday night we decided to eat dinner outside.
BEFORE
And AFTER
It was so good and nice to sit outside without the heat. Thought I was going to have to take Angela's plate away from her before she started licking it.
Saturday we took Annie to the dog park.We have never been to this dog park it is in the down town area of Kansas City.
Annie found so many new smell's.When I took her leash off she took a few steps and looked back to make sure it was ok to run around and play.
Taking a rest by dad.
In the same park is the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial.
We didn't go in because we had Annie, but are coming back to look.
View from the memorial looking to down town KC sky line. The building in front is Union Station train depot.
Don't know how many remember Western Auto Store this was there home office. The building is pie shape and now is loft type apartments.
Old electric street car parked at the union station and a couple of train cars.
It's been a rough week but I made it - how about you?

Only goes to prove - there are lots of interesting stuff to see - even in our own back yard!
Wow, a lot of stuff to cover in this blog. First, that dinner looked great - inside or outside!
Glad Annie enjoyed the dog park - our pups sure do and the good part is the dogs seem to police themselves off their leashes too so that's good.
That WWI Memorial sure looks spectacular especially with the skyline in the background. Thanks for posting all the pics as it's nice to see places I've never been.
looks like that'turkey' escaped the canadian thanksgiving!
That dinner looked so good no wonder you guys were thinking about licking the plates! LOL
Nice dog park. Such big dogs were there. Looks like they all had fun.
Great pics of the memorial and the city.
Great post. I loved all the pictures today. The chicken looks like hes been through a fan blade. :) Stay safe
I get lots of compliments on my earrings...
That's a nice dog park. Jodie and I love going to dog parks.
Poor Annie no scraps for her or little to lick off the plate, the doggie park looks great, did they have a swim area, Rigg's loves the park we take him to because he can swim and fetch in the lake.Love the train cars. Phyllis is so right about sightseeing close to home we do it all the time and even after all these years we always seem to discover something new. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
Great looking dinner! ...and really great photos of the park...As for the Rooster..Is he trying to compete with MY outfits after 4PM??? I do like his "windblown" look..
