Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Our Week and Mother’s Day

Monday---Work

Tuesday---Work

Wednesday---Work

Thursday ---Work

After work we went to a Cinco de Mayo party down the road in the little town of Parkville,MO. We both got the sombrero’s and party favors. They has $2.00 beer and $2.00 taco’s. They had this group playing and not sure what you call it but they were good to listen to. If someone can tell me what they are playing I will store it in my pea brain. We both had a good time.

Friday

We were up early and headed to a county park for a walk and I took my bike that I have not rode since last fall.We had Annie with us so I took her leash and started peddling to see if she would run along side me with out crossing in front and making me go flying, she loved it and was off and running.

Annie found some water and you could not hold her back, she was having so much fun sticking her head under the water and chasing a stick.

If you click on the right hand picture you can see Annie thinking about jumping off the water fall.

Sunday

I worked in the morning then went to my sister’s house to have mother’s day with my mom. It was good for her to get out of the nursing home and spend time with her sitting outside and eating bar-b-que she said she was having a good time.

I'm not an expert on Mexican instruments, but that looks like some type of marimba.
