The dream is starting to feel real.
We have been busy cleaning things out putting stuff in one pile for a sale and something's on Craigslist and the rest to the dumpster.
I have (had) this enclosed trailer that I used when I was in the handyman business. We spent Thursday unloading all the tools and things I used in the business and then reloaded it with all the things that belong to my son.
He needed a place to store his motorcycle and other stuff so I gave him the trailer to keep.
Not sure if anyone or everyone that was getting ready to go fulltime had the unsure and mixed feelings when they realized it was not just a dream but it is really happening.
We have started putting things in the 5th wheel that are going with us. Then comes the task of where to put it and then trying to remember where it is.
Now that the painting is done it’s time for tile in the kitchen, bath we bought the tile Friday and hope to have it installed sometime this coming week.
We are planning (hoping) to get the house on the market by April 1 (Fools Day) and be living pretty much in the 5th wheel in the driveway 1. To keep the house cleaner and 2. Keep the dogs and the hair out of the house.
I’m the impatience type that wants everything done yesterday. Angela says I need to slow my head down that its going to happen when its sup post to happen…..What ever that means..
I better get off here and think about what's next .

Exciting times when the dream starts to come true! :)
With me, thought before actually making the decision to sell the house and move into a motorhome and travel full time was scary but once we made that desicion it felt librating to gt rid of all our "stuff". Since then we have never looked back with any regret. We love this life.

While your still close and at home we have to plan a weekend to get together at a campground in MO. before you guys head out, Don't know which direction your planning on going first if it's east you might even be able to be spend a few days with us at the ranch. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna..
Looks like we will be listing at the same time! Hopefully, to meet down the road.
We actually BOUGHT a utility trailer in which we've stored some things. Lots of tools and some furniture I wanted to keep. Also three saddles. Who knows, we MIGHT have horses again someday. We parked it at Len's sons home in Alabama and check on it while visiting to make sure no leaks, excessive humidity, etc.
Sure does sound like you are getting to the finish line. Good for you. I've heard some houses have really sold fast. Hope yours in one of them.
So exciting! Can't wait to read more of your travels and plans once the house and stuff sells.
sure makes you wonder where you got all that stuff from anyway!
I so envey you. I am overwhelmed here.
Sounds like you are getting close! Living in your fifth wheel sounds like a good idea while your house is for sale. You will be able to see what you need and what you don't need. Good luck!
I have meant to ask this question before...You are getting ready to sale the house, which I pray goes very fast for you, but down the right-side of the window you have Till Fultime....774 days 15 hours 26 minutes and 38,37, 36 seconds. What does that mean? ~wheresweaver
our dream is still a nightmare..nice to see you are making some progress!!
What an exciting time! We're sending you our fast house-selling mojo with wishes for a speedy and profitable sale.
We'll be in Kansas City for the month of May. If you're still in town, we'd love to meet you! Let's make a date!

You're gettin there!
YAY -- let the adventure begin!!
If you didn't have those conflicting feelings, I don't think you'd be normal. You're taking a big step into an unknown adventure. Scary, exciting, fun, stressful. All of the above. But it is so worth it.
Boy we had some mixed feelings as we were getting ready to full-time but we are so glad that we did.
All the best for following your dream! I will be looking with interest to see how your travels go!
