We are still here and still getting the house painted and ready for
sale. (Boring) We are down to about a week from being done with
the inside painting (Boring) Angela has started to go thru some
pictures and getting rid of things she doesn’t want…(Boring)
The weather is getting nicer and spring is in the air…(Boring)
We are in the stage of getting rid of things in one pile and putting
things in another pile for a garage sale. (Boring)
I would tell you what we had for dinner last night but that would be? (Boring)
This is something I found and think it says it all. We have two
rescue mutts in our family right now plus a bird..
ONE DAY CLOSER TO OUR DREAM

Pep Talk Needed---Just think of how much fun you two are going to have once that house sales. All those boring times will be behind you and just the open roads ahead of you. No more painting, weeding, great weather all the time (follow the sun), no more garage sales, delicious food cooked on an open fire (or at least a grill)...come on now doesn't that make you want to get up and do the gig?(St. Patricks day is just around the corner.) ~wheresweaver
The weather getting nicer with spring in the air is far from boring for me! :)
I understand boring. But getting ready for a brand new life style has it's own excitement - the looking forward kind. And I stole your dog poster. That really hit home for me.
Just think of all the unexplored places you will soon be checking out. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The vast mountains and streams you will see. Just shut your eyes and think about for just a minute and your whole boring job of getting ready for it will also become part of your adventure.
Take care and take time to dream.
It's about time

I somehow don't believe you find this all so boring. I rather think you just want it to be over with. NOW!!!
GET OVER IT!! :-)
I subscribe to our 88 year old Uncle's saying.."Every day I get up,I look in the mirror and say "Hello Lucky!""....Carpe Diem...Hey, we took you to Historic Georgetown yesterday..All I have to do is get it blogged...Seriously, I understand the boredom..happens to us all...
It won't be long before this will behind you and the excitement will begin.
I dunno. We are doing the same things and it's not boring. Tiring? yes. Sometimes discouraging to look at the mountain of stuff to do? yes. Wishing we were done? you betcha! Keeping our nose to the grindstone? yep. Boring? not enough time to get bored, too much to do. lol
You know I am in the same boat.
ps~your poem made me cry so STOP IT!(no really, I love doggies so much!)
one day at a time and one job at a time..it is the means to the end..I know all about those unblogworthy days!!
now as for the poem?..it brought tears to my eyes too!..
have a great week!!..and have fun crossing stuff of your 'to do' list!!
I just finished reading The Art of Racing in the Rain so the poster really hit home. Thanks for posting. You'll get over being bored...your rescue pets will never get over their gratitude and love for their happy home.
