Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

The Mother Of All Strom’s

Thursday I was wishing I had not posted that Wednesday Funny two weeks ago.

Because we are paying for it now, it snowed about 11 inch’s Thursday from about 9am to about 2pm and more coming..yuk

We keep telling our self's that this is our last winter here in the snow belt. If we can just make it till spring we got it madeSmile

We had a great winter last year while we were still in the stick and brick and we moved into the 5th wheel  last April and  we knew we had to live thru the winter before I could retire and said no problem we have that global warming thing going on and we will be fine.. Right!!!

By the time we leave here next fall for Amazon we will be on the way to be seasoned full timers.

Now for all of you with a phobia of snow stop reading here….

Now see what most of you are missing???

Angela says the only thing she misses about the stick and brick is the doggy door. We both hate having to go out and walk the dogs..burr

And we have another storm coming tonight thru Monday and Tuesday…..YUCK when will it stop…

Oh, poor you. The snow looks very pretty, but how do you manage the cold in an Rv? I don't think there is one out there made for really weather. Have you have below zero temps?

Spring is coming! Stay warm!

Oh dear...being from Ohio, those pictures bring back bad memories. Just keep referring to your Spring countdown...only 23 days and 10 hours till Spring.

Oh yes, a doggie door would be so much more convenient. Hope that snow today just passes you by.

We lucked out last year being our first year in the apartment only having 1 & 1/2" of snow for the whole season. Having left home for a warmer climate in early January has not made us miss the weather as our kids are constantly telling us every time they get walloped.

Starting a countdown set at when you retire will add the incentive you need to make it through the last of your winter days. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

At least you don't have to shovel the walk.

Kenny, in spite of what you think I'm not missing any of that winter stuff. Too many years in the Midwest convinced me this is not the place to be in the winter. I sure hope you will join us in the south next winter.

That is good to know, usually what
you get we get in In a few days later
Hope it peters out before it gets
here. A doggy door in an RV...hmmm
maybe something you could invent
while sitting there in all that
white stuff. :) I am with you, YUK

That's not so bad as my silly eyes mind read 11' and not 11". So the latter seems lovely compared to the before!

How many tanks of propane do you go through?..or was that your big tank next to the camper..?? Do you have an electric fireplace?? That sure helps us stay warm!!
