Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Oh Baby It’s Cold Outside

As we sit here in Kansas City another winter has arrived and it’s 5 deg. Every year it gets harder to take the cold and dark dreary days .    we are hoping and praying maybe one more winter after this one we can break free of the brick’s and stick’s life.

We love reading the blogs and seeing the pictures of our rving friends that are lucky enough to be staying and traveling  in warmer areas of the US and we are learning a lot from it.

It’s hard to believe it’s been just over a year ago that we started this blog and reading and getting to know other blogger's.

It’s also hard to believe we have 76 people who sign in to follow us. Just think if we had something really interesting to write about how many we would have following.

Anyway we thank all of you for leaving comments and being so nice to us as we get ready to hit the road and meet  up with you. Angela and I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays.

As I type this it is 33 degree's in Scranton PA, 14 in Dardenne Prairie MO. and 10 in KC MO. Can't belive this weather up here less than 50 miles from the New York State line.Had some flurries but nothing stuck this morning, I hope to get out of here Wednesday on dry roads, I have decided to take the southern route across I-70 instead of I-80 since northern Ohio has snow on the ground just about to Columbus. By staying on I-70 all the way across I should miss whatever they all ready got and the roads should be plowed open by now. Just so nothing new comes while I am hotfooting it west. You guys keep warm and be safe out there, one of these days we will meet. Sam & Donna.

Hang in there, it won't be long before you're down with the others in Florida (oh, oh, they're freezing in Florida!), how about Arizona??

I enjoy your blog and look forward to reading about your fulltiming adventures too.

Heres hoping your temperatures will rise soon. It was 60 degrees here in south Texas, but that too is cooler than it normally would be. Hang in there, you will make it on the road soon.

Hi Kenny and Angela, Even though I am sitting in a comfortable climate in the fifth wheel right at this moment, I must say that I get excited when I hear about extreme weather - freezing temps, snow falling, blizzards. It is nice to get a glimpse of it all through these blogs. Thanks.

Keep counting down those days, you'll be there before you know it.

Even though we are in Mexico, we are getting around freezing mark temperatures at night and even a bit of frost on the ground first thing in the morning. It warms up nicely during the day though. Can't say we are missing the cold and snow up north.

Hope things warm up a bit for you.
