Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

One Week

I just got off work at the church and boy was it busy, you would have thought something big was going on today.

I guess there was it’s Easter. It’s always amassing all the people that are christens twice a year, Christmas and Easter  and boy do they come out.

Friday was our first week full timing and being weaned away from the the stick’s and brick’s.

We do use the shower and the washer and dryer in the basement witch is just off the garage. We call it using the shower house and laundry room.

Angela is getting use to cooking and how to do things in the kitchen like no dishwasher and no garbage disposal.

The tile work is all done so now we need to keep cleaning thing’s up and moving them out. Sold a few more thing’s on Craigslist Saturday but no bites on the MH yet.

I’m off this week so we are going to get a lot done (I Hope).

First thing Monday we need to take the 5th wheel for a ride to dump the tanks,it will be the first time that it has been out of the driveway since I brought it back from AZ in the fall.

I ask Angela why can’t I do it like in the movie Chevy Chase Vacation and dump it down the drain in the street, she just looked at me and said no.

Wow, you guys are so close to your dream.
UHM, you could dump the tanks at night with a really long hose.
NAH, better not.

Just buy some extra hose and dump it in your house toilet...NOT!

Getting use to no dishwasher and garbage disposal was tough but now I don't miss them at all.

Almost there!

I think it's a good idea to be trying out the lifestyle while still being close to some of the amenities of home. When the house is for sale, it will be a good way to keep it clean between showings!
