Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Checking In

It’s been a few weeks since we have posted so thought we would check in and let everyone know we are still here.

This past week was Angela’s birthday. The only thing she wanted was a new smaller coffee pot to fit on the counter of the 5th wheel.

Other than that the weather has been up and down but not to bad so far.

We do meet a lot of new friends and have a lot of happy (hours) around the camp fire.

Last night we had a belated birthday dinner with a couple we have met. Len and Kelli from Indiana,Len is here working for a few months.

Angela and Kelli hit it off from the get go.

Here’s me dressed like Where’s Waldo…

Angela wanted a fall looking picture for her facebook profile.

Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!

We are pretending to camp...Every night we have a campfire on our deck..Somehow, having to sleep with the train horns, it just isn't the same..

Great batch of pictures. The campfire looks fun. So far, in one year of full-timing, we have not been to or had one campfire. :(

I hope Len was having a better time than what his face indicates. :)

Happy Birthday, Angela!

Glad to have you check in and let us know that everything is going good. Sometimes life is simply life. And the days pass swiftly. So it's good to post once in awhile.

Leonard can do a lot of stuff, but building a decent campfire is not one of them. Last night he tried, no luck. Guess that's why he was a volunteer fireman, better at putting them out than setting them.
