Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

I made it for one more.

Saturday was my 61st birthday no big deal just glad to be here to have it..

This was my birthday cake I shared some with the neighbor  while playing with the Wii game.

Now we are going to concentrate on my retirement in September. We are in contact with Amazon and thinking we will work from October  to December then take that money and head for the desert for the winter.

We want to see the Q ( the wood stock for old people) at least once.

Happy Birthday -- only one more year until you can start buying the Golden Age Passport for the National Parks. And what a beautiful cake!

Your cake cracked me up. That is too funny. Happy Birthday. The best thing about getting older is retirement. And you definitely need to do Q at least once. Maybe we'll see you there.

Happy Birthday! Retirement at 61 is our dream, but probably won't happen. Love the beer can cake!

Happy birthday, go easy on the cake, it could cause a real headache.

We are still in Q. So much more to see than the flea markets (where the hippies are) and the Big Tent RV Show.
Today, we go to Bouse for a tour of some Gen. Pattons training areas, ghost town and a couple of old mines.

Happy Birthday Kenny! We're ten years ahead of you and loving life and retirement, except Joe decided to go back to work until we are free to travel again. Good thing he loves his work. (He drives for a nice retirement village taking residents to appointments, Church, and Sunday Drives.

Happy Birthday, Kenny! September's not that far off and soon after that you'll be heading to the Q - as long as you don't have too many of those Birthday Cakes!
