Another week down and flying by. Friday we were up early because we had to take the two dogs to the Vet. to get the annual check up and shots.
The Vet we go to is about 40 miles from the Driveway RV park. I also wanted to take the big Dodge truck and get it a little road time since it sits most of the time.
The reason we go so far to the Vets. is it’s a lot cheaper, they also run a no kill shelter so any profits they make it goes to that. The two hounds got a look over from the doc, vaccine shots, heartworm test,a nail trim and 1 years supply of heartworm prevention meds. All that for $218.50 hey the office call was only $10 not to bad.
I spent the rest of the day putting “The Solution Cleaner” on both trucks. There is something about driving a clean truck that makes a guy feel good.
ONE DAY CLOSER TO OUR DREAM

Good thing I am not a guy because my car seldom looks sparkling clean. :)
No kill shelter is one reason we wait till we are back in Ohio to take Bella to the vet.
The bill is excellent for two dogs. We know how expensive some of the vaccines can be and then if they do blood work, it really adds up!
Glad they are both doing wonderful.
I'm all over that idea of a clean vehicle..but I am the only one of us who thinks like that...Therefore, I am the only one who washes and waxes the GMC, and I need a ladder to do both...Yep, good deal on the Vet..Animals can be as costly as us humanoids.
Sure would love to have a clean truck. Len washed it a week and a half ago but here in Nebraska the road to where we are volunteering is a dirt one, as are a lot of other ones. Oh well, rained hard last night and some dust washed off.
When I adopted Fred or he adopted me it was from Animal Control but they use a no kill shelter as a last resort. Fred goes in July for all his tests . They are so reasonable there.
My car is a mess from pine pollen and sap. UGH
