We survived our week with Riley our grandson or should I say he survived the week with us.
A 10 year old living with two old people living in a rv had to be hard on him.
He did find some older boys up the street to shoot some hoops with.
This is what kids are really into and he would do it all day if you let him.
But we made him get outside and ride his bike and shoot hoops. Angela did take him to the movies to see The Avengers what ever that is. And of course I had to have the busiest week at work and didn’t get to take off. Dam work getting in my way…
I think he was ready to go home and see his twin sister who has been at girl scout camp all week, although he would not admit to that.
That is our (Not very) exciting news week from the driveway rv park.
ONE DAY CLOSER TO OUR DREAM

I bet Riley really enjoyed himself!
We had our 12 year old grand daughter RVing with us for a month,we hiked, took her to amusement parks and rodeo.
Both sides enjoyed it tremendously.
As long as there is a computer nearby, any 12 y/o is just fine. As a matter of fact, that goes for a whole lot of us "old" people too.
glad that you and Angela survived the week with the 'young 'un'!..kids don't need much that is for sure..sounds like it was perfect!..Happy Father's Day!
Sometimes kids don't need too much to be happy. I am sure you two gave him many wonderful memories to share with the family. Now for a week of rest for you two. Enjoy. Happy Father's Day!
Glad to hear it can be done! We're getting ready to have two grandkids for two weeks in the RV. :-)
We took our two to the Rose Bowl parade in January. They seemed to enjoy the RVing part as well.
Next time try taking them both at the same time. :)
The older they get, the dumber we look...That's why it's nice to cozy up to the 1 year old..He still thinks we are fun AND smart!
I bet he had a ball! I'm wondering how I'm going to accomodate friends that want to come visit us in British Columbia. Our RV is pretty small!
We tried to have Jim's granddaughter spend the night with us a couple of years and it was a disaster. Hopefully this year she's ready to spend some time with us when we get up her way. I bet Riley had a better time than you realize.
