Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

What A Week We Had

We just spent a fun filled week at Escapees Escapade  in Sedalia Mo. We met so many nice people it would be hard to list them all but here are a few.

Mike and Nancy our next door neighbor’s.

Richard and Samme .

Sam and Donna

Paul and Mary  aka Boris and Natasha

Leonard and Phyllis http://theeastsheadwest.blogspot.com003

We took turns having happy hours at each others rigs  and swopping stories.

We took in a lot of seminars on living fulltime and every night at 7pm everyone got together for the prize drawing and entertainment.

We met Sam and Donna and Riggs at the dog park one afternoon to let the hounds run.

Donna,Riggs,Annie and Mad Max

On the last night they had a get-together and dance.

When it comes to dancing I have two left feet.

But this cowboy and wife (Leonard  & Phyllis) tore of the dance floor.

Angela got her chance to try her boot scootin boogie..

We had a great time meeting all these fine folks and can’t wait to meet up down the road.

We are truly living the Good Life

Why does it not surprise me that Phyllis and Leonard can dance?!?! Looks like you had a great time. Some day we will have to make it to an Escapade -- or rally of some sort!
