Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

ARE PICTURES WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS?

First I want to thank Mike Mills for taken me to half a hundred on the  followers list .

Hope the title is correct because I’m a man of few words.

I like to let the pictures tell my story. What I need is a better camera and be able to use it.

As I talked about in a earlier blog I was starting to learn and experiment with making silverware jewelry. Here is a view of what I’ve done so far. It’s not as easy as I had thought trying to bend the silverware in to shape’s.

Saturday after spending the day starting on another bed room, pealing wall paper off the wall and preparing it for painting and a make over. We cooked some burgers on the grill with a cast iron grill on top. This make the best burgers you can imagine, you get the hickory smoke flavor and they stay juicy.

All that's missing here is my cold drink!!

After dinner we had a camp fire on the deck and watch the sunset and had a couple cocktails.

The fire had Angela in a trance, she loves watching a  fire and dreaming about being on the road.

Mad Max in his usual state. Must have kept him up to late with the camp fire. Sure not from being over worked!

Monday started out with mowing the lawn and then painting the ceiling in the room we are starting to paint.

Then hauled a pickup load to the dumpster at church. My brother called and had a plumbing problem,so I put some ribs on to smoke and went to fixed his plumbing.

It’s back to work tomorrow so I can get some rest from the last four days off.

That silverware jewelry looks very interesting. Are you going to sell it at craft fairs? Thanks for posting pictures of it. Your food pictures and descriptions are making me hungry!

Max assumes a position similar to mine when sleeping, except I think I druel more....Nice job on the jewelry concept....Some silverware is more intricately decorated than others...Keep practicing that grilling technique...RVing is just around the corner!!

Just my opinions:

Burgers on the grill - good.

Yard and house work - bad.

Dogs - good.

Back to work - bad.

Wow, I've never seen jewelry as unique as that. It is really beautiful. You should sell it on e-bay or something.
