Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

New Rules

After last weeks BIG BIG SURPRISE this week has been just the opposite nothing much going on. We sure do love the 5th wheel and find our self's sitting in it and talking about where to put things and what to take and what to get rid of.

We are putting the house up for sale this spring,so Saturday I started painting the ceiling’s and Angela is working on pulling up all the carpet, that took up most of the day.

I woke up Sunday morning at 5am to go to work and felt like I had been in a car wreck I was so sore. (out of shape) We (she) have a lot of painting to get done this winter. I guess when we (she) gets tired of painting she can look out the window at the 5th wheel and see why she is painting.

The boss (Angela) has made a rule that NO ONE can wear shoe’s in the 5th wheel. Guess we will see how long that last.. Yes dear I will take my shoe’s off. Some of you wanted to see picture’s of the inside of the 5th wheel.

I’m out of room so I park the truck next door at my buddies house.

It sure is nice. Thanks for taking the pictures.
I can sort of understand the "no shoes" rule. We (almost) always took ours off in the motorhome. It does keep the carpets cleaner.

Wow! Just beautiful. That "No shoes" rule is worthwhile, but a real hard one to follow.

5th looks great. Yes, the 'hose ready' time is so much work, but worth it in the end! We do take our shoes off, and have slippers ready by the door, and we never wore shoes in our homes, so we didn't have to change anything. good luck with your painting and getting ready to sell.

Fantastic!! The 5er sure looks great!! I would say that is wonderful motivation to work hard on getting the house sold.
Thanks for the pics!

Good luck with the no shoe thing. I've always worn my shoes in all my houses and in my motorhome. That's just the way I was raised. :)

That's a nice looking fifth wheel. Yes, we have the no shoes rule, too. It generally works, but not always. We both wear slippers inside our motorhome, so the rule works unless we are going in and out and in and out.

Kenny,we had the no shoes rule while we had it and it worked 99% of the time.Got the package. Thanks.

Beautiful. It really won't be that difficult to take off your shoes at the door. We do it every time we come into the MH. We don't even think about it any more.
We do not envy you two and the painting. We did the same thing when we put our house up for sale. It is a pain!

VERY NICE! I thought a lot about the no shoes thing. We have ceramic tile in half of the floor, and a ugly carpet on the other half. I bought a couple of throw rugs and put one just inside the door. I think when the wether is bad, we will take our shoes off, but for days when we are going in and out a lot, we won't. We both wear tie tennis shoes and it would be a pain.

I need an "Angela" to get everything done around here ...

The shoes off rule is definitely one you'll be able to live with, especially when compared to the things you WON'T drag in!

Beautiful looking 5'er! You're going to love that big shower too, it's one of my favourite features with ours.

We try and adhere to the no shoes rule in our 5'er too. I'll bet we're about 98% successful with it.

Really nice 5er you have there. Hope you can sell your home quickly and move on to the road.

Love the rig!..I usually slip into my Crocks at the door...McGuyver??...He refuses to follow that rule..Luckily, you walk into tile and a door mat...Our carpet is light colored and I carry Shot Spot for spot cleaning which works pretty good!!
