Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

We Made It

We left Thursday morning at 7:30 and had to stop at a trailer repair shop for a 8:00 appointment to have the breaks check because I had none.

Ended up we needed all new wheel bearings and had some wielding  done. Got out of there $350 lighter and headed to Knob Noster State Park.

001

Got up early and headed the 15 miles to Sedalia MO and the Missouri State Fair Ground for the Escapees Rally.

When I started to set up and I already knew the battery was weak on the 5th wheel and was hoping to get by with it. Well $100 later and a new battery we got set up.

This is a look of our street and the RV’s just keep coming and coming.I have never seen so many in one place.

002

This is like a Woodstock for old people…

003

If anyone out there is coming please look us up we are in site R-3. Knock on the door and hear our barking door bell or is that 2 dumb bells barking.

Have a wonderful time. Wish we were there. But I hope it doesn't rain on you like it did when we were there. What a mess. But you're with other RVers and it doesn't matter the weather.

Getting all new bearings for $350 plus a little welding is a pretty good price I'd say.

Woodstock for old people? I guess that means there won't be any skinny dipping or rolling in the mud!
