Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Not Much

We had a slow week not much going on around here.

Friday we had one of the twin grandkids over to spend the weekend it was Riley. His sister had a party to go to and didn’t want to miss it. Guess grand parents know when  there grandkids are growing up when going to a party is more important.

Someone needs to tell him he is getting to big for it..

003   006  We did go to a small fair on Saturday again not much going on there either.

Grandpa,Riley and Annie

This little piggy went to market and ended up staying and was trying to stay warm..

Riley and Angela had to pass on the hole pig thing so we went to a bar-b-que place where you don’t have to look your meal in the eye.

It was so good I forgot to take a picture of it.  That’s it for our not so much going on weekend,

Thanks for stopping by and have a good new week.

Looking dinner in the eye is okay, as long as it does not look back:)

I'm thinking I'd rather not look my meal in the eye either. :)

I'm with everybody else - no eyes in my meal. That's why Jim always has to filet the fish before they come through the door.

Any time the grandkids show up it is bedlam here..We had a pig roast here once..He wasn't pretty, but he sure tasted good!!!

We tried to roast a whole pig in a backyard pit once! It was not a pretty sight - but eventually it got cooked and was pretty good. I'll not do it again though. I'm with the others...I'd rather pretend that my meat is just another package of something from Safeway LOL!!!

It sounds like you did a ton for a slow week. The pictures of your grandson is so precious! You can show him those on his wedding night...LOL. Enjoy the kids

Thanks for your comment on my tire situation, but still wondering what size tires you have on your Tioga? I am contemplating going with 875 x 16.5 instead of changing wheels and all, as those tirese according to one shop, are still available. To do tires and wheels would be over $2000 and not looking forward to that.

Pig roasts are okay; If I dont look when they cut them up.

And I have to wonder = just what is that apple in the mouth thing about anyway?

Nope! I can't even eat a fish that's whole on a plate.
